Vitosha Boulevard             

On Vitosha Boulevard mainly boutique shops of world-known designer’s labels of cloths, shoes and cosmetics are located.Some of the traditional shopping areas in the downtown part, such as Pirotska Street, Rakovska Steet and Graf Ignatiev Street.

Shopping Center & Mall

Мore of those boutiques you will find in the malls built in the recent years: The Mall, Serdika Center, Mall of Sofia, Park Center (ex. City Center Sofia), Paradise Center, Sky City Shopping Center, The Ring Mall, Sofia Outlet Center, which quickly turned into favorite places for shopping, entertainment and appointments of Sofia citizens. Most are open from 10:00 until 22:00 (10 AM to 10 PM) every day.

Market

The Tsentralni Hali (Central Food Halls), on bulvard Maria Louiza, is a spotlessly clean and well-organised bazaar open daily. Situated on Stefan Stambolov bulvard, Zhenski Pazar (Women’s Market) is a truly down-to-earth market. There is also a large book market at “ploshtad Slavejkov”, near the National Theatre.

“Zhenski Bazar” – famous Women’s Market

The so-called “Women’s Market” on Stefan Stambolov Boulevard is probably the most popular market in Sofia that sells all manner of goods – and not women’s items alone. There is a large variety of fruit, vegetables, cheese and other edible delights to be had. Open-air markets close before dark. Saturday is the busiest market day.

Farming market in Sofia

At “Rimskata stena” (Romans Wall) bazaar every Saturday from 11:00 till 15:00 is farming open market with bio and organic food and drinks.

Souvenirs

Souvenirs such as reproduction icons, ceramics, wooden items, embroidered tablecloths and lace are for sale at stalls at square near Alexander Nevski Cathedral at the so called Antiques market. Here You could find antiques, post stamps…
